Visitor Information

ACCESS: To access Branksome Dene Beach, drive to Bournemouth and head towards Westbourne. Look for signs directing you to Branksome Dene Park or Branksome Dene Beach. You can park at the Branksome Dene Park car park, which is a short walk from the beach (or the nearby Branksome Chine Car Park or West Cliff street parking if its full). To get down to the beach, follow the signs from Westbourne or Branksome Dene Park down to the beach. The beach has good accessibility features, including paths and ramps for easier access.

FACILITIES: Toilets, rentable beach huts and designated picnic areas all make an extended visit more feasible. During the peak season, lifeguard services are available to ensure safety. The beach is popular for various water sports, so you can find facilities for renting equipment or taking lessons.
