SandPolo has become one of the major events in Poole’s summer calendar, transforming part of Sandbanks Beach into a purpose-built polo arena.
The British Beach Polo Championships are described by the organisers as the largest beach polo event in the world. The enclosed beach format puts spectators close to the horses and players, creating a faster and more compact version of traditional field polo that is designed to be easy for newcomers to follow.
