Date Updated

3rd September 2026

We Out Here Festival has confirmed that it will return to Dorset in 2027, following a sell-out seventh edition at Wimborne St Giles.

The four-day festival will take place from Thursday 19 to Sunday 22 August 2027, once again transforming the beautiful grounds of the St Giles Estate into one of the country’s most distinctive music and cultural gatherings.

Curated by BBC Radio 6 Music presenter Gilles Peterson, We Out Here brings together internationally celebrated artists, emerging performers and some of the most influential names from the worlds of jazz, soul, hip hop, house, Afro and electronic music.

The 2026 festival sold out of both weekend and day tickets, underlining the growing popularity of an event that has developed a particularly loyal following since moving to Dorset.

More Than a Music Festival

While its carefully curated line-up remains at the heart of We Out Here, the festival has become known for offering much more than traditional live performances.

Across four days and nights, visitors can discover open-air dancefloors, intimate sound systems, DJ sets and live stages alongside wellness sessions, talks, workshops, family activities and a wide choice of independent food and drink.

Its setting at Wimborne St Giles has also become an important part of the experience. Woodland spaces and the surrounding Dorset countryside create an atmosphere that feels more like a shared summer escape than a conventional large-scale festival.

When Will the 2027 Line-Up Be Announced?

The performers for We Out Here 2027 have not yet been revealed. Previous editions, however, have combined internationally recognised artists with emerging talent and influential selectors from across the global music scene.

The newly announced event will be the eighth edition of We Out Here and its fifth at Wimborne St Giles, where the festival has been held since 2023.

Following an initial loyalty sale for returning festivalgoers, new customers can register for early access to 2027 tickets from 10am on Tuesday 8 September.

Further announcements, including the first performers and ticket releases, are expected over the coming months.
