Golden Cap Holiday Park combines several of the things we would look for in a Jurassic Coast campsite: a beach nearby, outstanding walks from the doorstep and spectacular surrounding countryside.
The park is just 150 yards from Seatown Beach and is surrounded by around 2,000 acres of National Trust land. The South West Coast Path passes close to the park, while Golden Cap itself rises immediately above this stretch of coastline.

Eweleaze Farm is the campsite we would choose for anyone dreaming of a more relaxed, traditional coastal camping experience.
Set at Osmington near Weymouth, the campsite stretches across several fields with extensive sea views. Guests also have access to the farm's secluded beach, making this one of the most distinctive camping locations on the Dorset coast.

East Fleet Farm occupies a particularly beautiful position on the shores of the Fleet Lagoon, with views towards the Jurassic Coast and easy access to Weymouth.
The touring and camping park is around three miles from Weymouth's sandy beach and provides a quieter countryside alternative to staying directly in the resort.

Just inland from the Fleet Lagoon and Chesil Beach, Bagwell Farm makes an excellent base for exploring the central section of Dorset's Jurassic Coast.
The independent, family-run park welcomes tents, caravans and motorhomes and has everything from simple non-electric grass pitches to fully serviced pitches.
One of its biggest strengths is its position. Weymouth is around five miles away, while the Fleet Lagoon, Chesil Beach and the South West Coast Path are all within easy reach. There is also an on-site shop, dog wash and the seasonal Red Barn Bar & Grill.

Norden Farm takes us further east along Dorset's Jurassic Coast and makes an excellent base for exploring the Isle of Purbeck.
The family-run campsite is set on a working farm just outside Corfe Castle. From here, Studland, Swanage and the Purbeck coastline are all within easy reach, while Corfe Castle village itself is less than a mile away.
We particularly like Norden for visitors who want to explore without relying entirely on their car. There are two bus stops at the entrance and the heritage railway towards Swanage is only around a five-minute walk away.
