The Wild Swimming Festival 2027 returns to Swanage on 17-18 July for a weekend of guided coastal swims, water-safety talks, live music and outdoor adventure. The festival village is free to attend, while visitors can separately book experiences including beginner swimming sessions, paddleboarding, snorkelling, seafront sauna visits and guided swims around some of Dorset’s most recognisable coastal landmarks.

Admission: The festival village is free to attend, but places should still be reserved. Guided swims, challenges, sauna sessions and other activities are individually priced and must be booked separately.
The Wild Swimming Festival returns to Swanage for a weekend celebrating outdoor swimming, coastal adventure and the community that has grown around taking a dip in open water.
The free festival village will combine live music, entertainment, water-safety talks, local food and drink, specialist brands and opportunities to meet other swimmers. Beyond the village, visitors can build their own weekend from guided swims, timed challenges, beginner-friendly sessions and coastal experiences led by open-water coaches and lifeguards.
Entry to the festival village is free, although visitors are asked to reserve their places through the official website.
