Located in Bournemouth Square, The Alpine Market operates from 11am to 11pm daily, with the wooden chalets housing everything from artisan jewellery makers to local food producers, independent craft brewers to vintage clothing sellers. Whilst you'll certainly find your traditional German bratwurst and steaming bowls of glühwein, there's a decidedly local twist that makes this celebration uniquely Bournemouth. Meanwhile, the Christmas Tree Wonderland, with its spectacular light displays, creates a glittering pathway through the heart of the town.

The festivities run from 13th November 2025 through to 4th January 2026, giving you plenty of opportunity to soak up that festive atmosphere. The lighting installations stretch from the seafront through the Square and up to the Triangle, Beale Place, Horseshoe Common and the Lansdowne roundabout. Skate Bournemouth takes over the Lower Gardens with a proper ice rink, with the Moguls Alpine Bar perfectly placed to thaw out those fingers and toes whilst you plan your next assault on the rink.
Admission is free, which means you can wander through, soak up the atmosphere, and spend only what you choose to on food, drink, and gifts. There are weekly prize draws every Friday where families can win tickets to SKATE Bournemouth or credit to spend at the Christmas Market, with a grand prize draw on 24th December 2025.
