Scouting is a wonderful opportunity for young people to learn various skills, such as map reading, camp cooking, and first aid, to name a few. There are chances for international experiences and camping trips. There are 8 groups in Christchurch District: Town, Jumpers, Somerford, Mudeford (sea scouts), Highcliffe, Burton, Bransgore, and Hurn (air scouts). There are 6 different age groups (Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Network) across ages 4-25.

Christchurch Scouting can only admit young people in the BH23 area. There is also likely to be a waiting list. Membership fees vary.
