Christchurch History Society organises 10 evening meetings a year, normally on local history. The society has access to an archive with over 20,000 documents, photos, and maps. The society also organises numerous visits and guided walks, as well as attending community events. It is an excellent opportunity to meet others who share a passion for history, and learn more about the beautiful Christchurch area.

A single membership is £13.00 annually, and a joint membership (at the same address) is £18.00. When attending a talk, it is £2.00 for members, and £5.00 for visitors.
