Christchurch Cheese & Chilli Festival is expected to return in 2027 for another weekend filled with artisan cheese, fiery chilli products, street food and family entertainment. Official dates, tickets and programme details have not yet been announced, but the previous festival featured live music, cooking demonstrations, chilli-eating competitions, children’s activities and specialist traders at Parley Lane in Hurn. We will update this preview when the organiser releases confirmed information for 2027.

Christchurch Cheese & Chilli Festival brings together independent producers, food traders and entertainers for a lively weekend celebrating two bold flavours.
Visitors can browse stalls filled with artisan cheeses, chilli sauces, preserves, street food, sweet treats and specialist products. Samples and tastings are normally available throughout the festival, giving us opportunities to discover unfamiliar cheeses or test how much heat we can genuinely handle.
The event is organised by 33rd Management Ltd and forms part of a series of Cheese & Chilli Festivals held across southern England.
2027 ticket prices: To be confirmed
For comparison, 2026 adult tickets ranged from £8 for the earliest advance bookings to £14 at the standard rate. Concession tickets ranged from £6 to £12, depending on when they were purchased.
Children aged 15 and under attended free when accompanied by an adult.

The 2026 programme included daily chilli-eating competitions, a cooking theatre, sauce tasting and voting, live bands and a wide choice of free children’s entertainment.
The festival is designed as a family-friendly event. In 2026, children aged up to and including 15 received free admission when accompanied by an adult.
Many children’s activities were included with admission, although some attractions, including selected funfair rides, inflatables and face painting, carried an additional charge.
The previous Christchurch festival provided disabled toilets and free event parking. Mobility scooters could also be pre-booked through an external provider.
The festival takes place on an outdoor event field, so ground conditions may be uneven and affected by the weather. Visitors with specific mobility or access requirements should contact the organiser before booking.
Dogs were welcomed at previous festivals but had to remain on leads. Owners were responsible for clearing up after their dogs, particularly because the event is centred around food.
The 2027 dog policy will be added when confirmed.
Free parking was available at the Christchurch festival in 2026, although an entry ticket did not guarantee a parking space. Visitors were advised to arrive early.
Christchurch railway station is approximately three miles from the previous event site. Weekend public transport to the area can be limited, so visitors should check current services before travelling.
