Admission: A mixture of free and ticketed events. Some headline concerts require tickets, while many performances, dance displays and activities around the town are free to enjoy.
Bridport Folk Festival returns in July 2027 for a weekend celebrating folk music, dance and Dorset's rich cultural heritage. The festival transforms Bridport with performances across multiple venues, bringing together nationally recognised artists, local musicians, Morris dancers and traditional folk acts in a lively community atmosphere.
Alongside headline concerts, visitors can enjoy street performances, workshops, dance displays, sessions and family-friendly entertainment throughout the town, making it one of West Dorset's most popular summer festivals.
Many of the outdoor performances, dance displays and community events are free to attend.
Tickets are required for selected headline concerts and special performances. Advance booking is recommended, although some tickets may also be available on the door, subject to availability.
