The Bournemouth Bay Run is returning in 2027, inviting runners of different ages and abilities to walk, jog or race beside Bournemouth’s seven-mile stretch of golden sand.
Beginning around Pier Approach, the annual seafront event traditionally offers four distances: a chip-timed Half Marathon, chip-timed 10K, chip-timed 5K and a 1K Kids Fun Run. This makes it suitable for experienced runners chasing a competitive time, beginners taking on a new challenge and families looking to participate together.
Paid event - Advance registration will be required for each race.
The 2027 entry fees have not yet been confirmed. For reference, the 2026 prices were £8 for the 1K Kids Fun Run, £12 for the 5K, £24-£26 for the 10K and £30-£32 for the Half Marathon. Additional booking fees applied.
These prices are provided as a guide only and may change for the 2027 event.
