Stretching about 14 miles (22.5 km), the North Dorset Trailway links Sturminster Newton to Spetisbury, following the winding route of the old Somerset and Dorset Railway. The Rodwell Trail is a 2-mile (3.5 km) path in Weymouth that follows the track bed of the old Weymouth to Portland Railway.
