There are chances for international experiences and camping trips. There are 8 groups in Christchurch District: Town, Jumpers, Somerford, Mudeford (sea scouts), Highcliffe, Burton, Bransgore, and Hurn (air scouts). There are 6 different age groups (Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Network) across ages 4-25.

Girl Guiding is an excellent club for young people, creating a space where they can learn new skills, make friends, and improve their community. There are 4 different age groups covered by Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers, from 4-18, as well as opportunities to become a Young Leader or travel abroad. They meet up regularly to do fun activities and earn badges, normally weekly.

Branksome Chine Surf Lifesaving Club is a voluntary lifeguarding organisation that patrols the beach between the Bournemouth and Poole boundary and Flaghead Chine in Poole. They are affiliated to Surf Lifesaving Great Britain (SLSGB) and provide safety cover, patrols, public safety courses and sports training throughout the year on top of local, regional and national competitions, and social events.

Founded in 1970, Christchurch Life Saving Club teaches lifeguarding and first aid skills, with members 6-60+. The age sections are large nippers (6-12), junior (12-16), senior (16-40), and masters (40+). They train for Lifeguarding awards, as well as entering competitions throughout the year. It is a great way to give back to the local community, as well as raising money for charity.
